Attempted scam on our bank account today I think. Trying to hijack our account? 95% this call of fraudulant charges on our debit cards sounded legit at first.

1, he knew about the fraudulent charges and our phone numbers, both of ours.
2, it took a very long time, he said it was because he was backup since our bank is closed
3, at the end he asked me for my user name to log on. :loco:

4! he got irked when he asked me for my username to log onto our bank account and I said no and I hung up. Called back to scold me and if I don't share my username I won't get a refund on the $4500 for 60 days.

5, After I remembered they called they had called 3 times on Nov 6. But the charges were from today, Nov 28. I remember the 6th because I texted WWW asking if he knew why the bank had called me and looked up our texts. (yes, the local banks phone number on caller id, I'm guessing spoofed)
6, Checked my bank account and sure enough, they tried to run those charges a few times each even after the phone call. Thankfully, even though my bank is closed it's flagging and rejecting all attempts.

    Dirty scammers, even on Thanksgiving.

I have had the rotten egg smell . It's from the bacteria that thrive on the iron in the water. They will multiply in my water heater if I don't keep it hot enough . I went on vacation once for a few weeks and had the bright idea to save a (very) few bucks by shutting the water heater off. Man oh man did that hot water stink when I turned it back on.
So far for me two sediment water filters has been enough to get the rust taste out. I get the typical stains on the toilet and the clothes washer just can't keep whites from getting a "tan" with repeated washing.
I have my own well and septic, which means no water and sewer bill and I can live with the iron rich water. The water and sewer bills here are crazy.

Oof, I am stuffed from T-giving dinner. Came home and slept for four hours. I have half of a 29 pound turkey leftover to deal with. But there's also leftover pie . :)

I have a feeling this scammer, going on limited information he "verified" is going to run numbers all night to get into our bank account. So, I just transferred all the money in there to a separate account. No transactions today, but atleast I have paper trail.

I am so glad you caught the scam and didn’t give him any information that he wanted

This was a very smart move! We had a similar attempt at our bank accounts and proactively opened new accounts and transferred like you did. End of problem. Only complication was notifying various automatic withdrawal accounts of the change. Hope you have zero problems into the future!

Yes, I was hoping to return it to first account exactly because of that, as well as bill pay is all set up, maybe not now. Turns out the bank is closed today too. Wait til Monday I guess.

Last night, I dreamed that I was a cop. I busted a fellow (dirty) cop who was running an evil operation which caused harm to innocent animals. I peered around the corner where i was to apprehend him, and, wearing full uniform, the dirty cop went for his gun but I was far too fast for him and I shot him before his hand could grasp his weapon. I shot to kill, and he died a quick, painful death. Afterwards, I just remember carrying on some mundane personal errands on my own time, pondering over how unaffected I was by having just killed a man, even if he was a scumbag.

Then I woke up, dressed and ate breakfast, and went to my real life job. The mind certainly is a strange place.

I can't kick this stupid thing. It just keeps morphing from head to chest and vice verce and the low fever is aggrivating. Weird, I must have had tense shoulder musles and between my should blades the night it hit (I do remember that's first thing that got achy) and that keeps reappearing. I've been trying to keep normal waking hours with the family home for Thanksgiving, but they left early today and I slept in. Holy cow, woke up soaked and realized I clocked over 13 hours in bed. Thanksfully tons of chest congestion is coming up today.

I can breath so much better tonight!

I've never had new moania (much less good at spelling pneumonia) and not quite sure of the symptoms.....but do you think that's what it is?

Well it's either a bacterial, viral (or possibly fungal) infection. Ha-ha, well that covers just about everything doesn't it ? Antibiotics helps with one and it's not uncommon to get a scrip for some flavorr of antibiotics and hope it works. Sometimes they never know what caused it although there are culture tests for things like Strep.
I can get a bacterial infection in my sinuses which can end up draining into my lungs and I end up with bacterial pneumonia. I was told that curling up in bed and sweating it out was NOT a good practice and to sleep (more) upright in a Lazyboy type chair keeping the lungs more upright. I have to admit it works, but I'm not very comfortable trying to sleep like that.
I have found that in the Spring or Fall if/when it feels like my sinuses are "backing/loading up" (probably starts with pollen) , I take guaifenesin for 10-14 days and it dries me out and stops the whole process.
Make the effort to stay hydrated.

I can vouch for the Navage nasal flush system works pretty darn well to clear that out and often "head things off" before getting real sick.

I remember using a netipot or some such thing to flush out nasal passages at the time it was really bad, but it not helping. That does seem to work for a lot of people though.

I cut down 300 - 400 trees today ranging in size from 1" to 8". I'm not even half done.

I'm not sore at all. Nope. Definitely not. Getting out of bed tomorrow isn't going to suck.
