Just a thought Brad maybe contact some of the loggers ( not tree care) in your area maybe they could hook you up with a load of locust topwood Locust is a premium log at sawmills and it became really tough to get when I had the sawmill . I was paying @.55 to .65 a board ft plus trucking one load of real nice logs was from west virginia it was 3200.00 for the load with the shipping . I did ask him what they did with the top wood and he said a local guy bought it for making fenceposts and rails JB

Idid spy many BL logs on the top of a pie of logs at a land clearing company next to the lumberyard I do business with. Called and they said I couldn't cut in their yard. I can't take log length delivery either.

    Appreciate the input JB! :handshake:

That sucks you can't take a log truck load !! I guess it's to expensive to rent yourself a lot to work out of around you ? I also know why they will not let you work in their yard One is liability Two they probably had someone do it before and left a mess for them to clean up . Maybe you need to get a second job with them so you can work there ?:D:rofl:  JB

I actually wouldn't mind working part time for a tree service.

Didn’t include the three ricks of red oak in my trailer because I was posting a CL ad for white oak. IMG_1214.jpeg

I thought I would miss out on a lot of sales by going to Italy for ten days. However, not a single customer bagged on me by having to wait for delivery upon my return. Made 26 face cord deliveries in the week after returning. Not fun doing twelve hour days with jet lag and a cold.

If true, I'd be a billionaire my now. One of my customers today tipped me $70 on top of my outragious price per rick. He liked that that I responded immediately to his text, showed up within 30 seconds of my stated time, stacked it up steps on his porch, delivered more than a rick and blew off all the bark and leaves off his porch. He is a M&A dude that likes living in the country. His kids showing up for Thanksgiving wanted a fire.
