Sure are! Well over a foot with the potential of 36" in isolated areas. We'll see.

In any event, I did put the plow onto the truck last evening-it's ready and waiting.

20 overnight with 2-3 inches of fresh snow.

The heavy snowfall predicted will begin this evening. Sometime (not quite listed) the winds will also increase. No matter to us, no traveling happening.

Brought a bunch of wood down into basement.
Put tonight/ tommorow wood by stove because we've had a lot of rain recently and it's a bit damp.
Just reloaded before we go to family.
Stove eating some ash ,cherry black walnut.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! It's been snowing all day and we have about 5". It's 32* out / 72* in, with Red Maple in the stove.

 

34/72 have some sycamore going for the evening. I cooked all morning, turkey, yams, mashed potatoes, corn, noodles, green bean casserole, stuffing, and biscuits. Then the wife's desserts, pumpkin dump cake, pumpkin pie and no bake cookies.

 

7pm 39/78 Getting rid of some Sycamore in the Jotul F500.
