    Temps droping in middle TN starting Friday, so building up the heat in the house with some hickory and white oak. Wife is fully dressed, so not quite hot enough yet.

    Sure are! Well over a foot with the potential of 36" in isolated areas. We'll see.

    In any event, I did put the plow onto the truck last evening-it's ready and waiting. :handshake:

    20 overnight with 2-3 inches of fresh snow.

    The heavy snowfall predicted will begin this evening. Sometime (not quite listed) the winds will also increase. No matter to us, no traveling happening.

    The snow finally stopped here. Sounds like yooperdave is gonna get it now.

    Clear and cold this morning at 22 degrees F.
    74 in the house. Burning some Douglas Fir and Aspen.

    Put tonight/ tommorow wood by stove because we've had a lot of rain recently and it's a bit damp.
    Just reloaded before we go to family.
    Stove eating some ash ,cherry black walnut.

    34/72 have some sycamore going for the evening. I cooked all morning, turkey, yams, mashed potatoes, corn, noodles, green bean casserole, stuffing, and biscuits. Then the wife's desserts, pumpkin dump cake, pumpkin pie and no bake cookies.
