Four years later, the wood from this score just keeps on giving. A small load heading to my uncle’s house for cooking tomorrow’s outdoor turkey.

Rotisserie. He’s got a homemade spit he’s been using for probably 20 years.

That’s so awesome Eric! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Please post some pics of the cooked turkey!

(The actual turkey, not a pic of Brad….:D)

I've got 2 old apple trees on my property I need to take down they're both half dead. Been burning some bigger stuff I pruned off them last year trying to bring them back and it burns hot. Not sure if someone planted them or nature did they're about 10-12" dbh. Going to put some new ones in there place for the deer.

Got a text from one of my wood sources last night about this. Checked it out earlier. Mostly smaller trees with 6 to 8" diameter trunks. Not ideal if you're looking for cordage. Rows closest to road already cut. The orchard store was closed for the season as I wanted to ask how much time before they chip them. DSCF0382.JPG DSCF0383.JPG DSCF0384.JPG DSCF0385.JPG
