In my area of responsibility there are a few Autumn Purple left, but they have die back.

It’s a male cultivar of White Ash.

Some sweet splits there. Did you stack it for him too as he looks a bit overwhelmed?

 

Yep. He just had stint surgery and thinks they are going to have to bypass that vein. Not fun. Didn’t take him much to get winded.

I’ll top off row 3 and that should be good for the season.

My father (passed away 2010) had a stint put in as well and had bypass surgery.

 

No issues w/ me, we made those splits small for him. If anything, my hands start aching if I over do it.
I have a big oak lined up for tomorrow/tues. Stay tuned.

I don't see Gearwood in the BTU chart. Looks pretty hard and heavy. Are you gonna split it or noodle it? A round that big should take a while to burn.
