My extra BK will likely go into another home. I accumulated the boxer in a deal I couldn't pass on. By all means consider the BK line when you make a stove change. I'll keep a eye out for your future thread.

32/68. Nice Pecan roll fresh from our local bakery. Coffee. Mmmmm
Loading Ash when my treat is gone! Have a great day all.

Mild here at 46 but it’s feeling raw with the wind whipping things up. Currently burning a mixed load of sassafras, cherry and apple.

45/72. Wet and dreary. Shorts and uglies. Pine, ash, oak. Firewood hash.

Moved some stacks to the shed, split up some toothpick kindling from some shorts. Takin' it easy today.

Had a few lows in the 30's past couple nights. A stick of elm in the back with WO chunks in the front. About 74° inside now. 20241121_080611.jpg

-9c/16f right now and snowing. The stove load of lodgepole pine is in its last stage before reload. I had a bunch of work to do and came home to a big snow berm across my driveway and yet again more snow to shovel. I bought one of those roof rakes from Costco last year and used it today for the first time and it worked great. I have a dog kennel with chicken wire across the top of it supported by trusses. If I dont remove the snow from it, it gets pretty droopy from the weight. I have a tin shed that has more than a foot of snow on it but Im waiting for the storm to pass before I get to clearing off that one. Our storm should pass by tomorrow so Im hoping I can get a breather from the snow removal. I like snow but its a lot of work. I cant wait for ice fishing season to start.

    It’s a Baker.

Then visited my son who had his fire chugging away. Was 77 in there. :dennis:

50/67 Finally started my first fire of the season. We have some cold days coming so we're doing a test run tonight. Oak and hickory chunks and uglies.
