    54/63 sunny.....pretty ideal-ish weather.

    Planning to work in the shop for a bit this morning, then we're supposed to go saw those cedars into lumber and start building.

    This little girl stopped in for a bit yesterday when my wife had the kitchen door opened for a few minutes.

    Thank you for the good wishes. For those unaware, yesterday I had a reverse total left shoulder replace. Scheduled for 12:45 I went into the operating room at 2:00. That was a long time without food and water but was not too bad. I do not remember when it was finished but I was allowed to go home maybe at 6:00. Good they let me out.

    I slept fairly well. Nerve block is wearing off now so I am feeling more pain. Next days may not be fun.

    Stick to whatever physical therapy they administer and do the exercises they suggest at home.

    Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. 64°\72° cloudy. Had rain yesterday and last night, should start clearing later today.
    Busy, staying in the road kinda day, oldest daughter had Dr appointment @8:45AM, 45 min drive from home, then we have to pick up grandsons for Dr appointment this afternoon about 2 hrs in opposite direction, dinner and a trip to Sam's Club will be involved also.
    Time with family today...

    Morning all. We are out of power this morning. It went off at 8:15PM last night and woke up to it still being off. No indication of when it will be back on.
    We were hit with a bomb cyclone yesterday afternoon and early evening. The whole of the island has roads closed and power off.
    Thankfully we have generators for heat, light and most important - internet.

    My dad was transferred back to the assisted living facility with my mom. Time will tell if he/they are to remain there.

    I took the trash barrels to the end of the driveway and there was this wet stuff all around. Holy crap it's drizzling! Wet day ahead. 42⁰/50⁰ up to 1.5 inches of rain over the next 36 hours.

    Prep and pack day today for a trip to Cape Cod with my SIL and husband.

    I'll visit with my brother and folks at some point.

    Good Morning... :coffee: ... 38F and a stiff northern wind... Nice... Stove going now... and not just partial loads... Took some honey locust over to the GF's house and put in her insert and she was impressed on how well it took off and burnt... :DI was impressed on how well for a insert it burnt and heated... Now just to figure out what electrically is suppose to be wrong with the blowers...

    Shop work, then more roof building.

    We made good progress yesterday.....still have to frame the hip, then trim the rafter tails & install the facia.

    Morning all Calm today. Wild winds the last two days. Power came on at the 24 hour mark last night. We had spent the day driving down island for dentist appointments. Snow on the side of the road in places so winter isn't too far off.
    Now to put away all the power off stuff that got hauled out and make Mom some coffee so she can sit and surf the internet while I make breakfast.
