Honeysuckle is nasty stuff at least ours was. If it's really thick and intertwined be careful cutting it I almost had 3 teeth knocked out. I had a branch snap me in the mouth I
I ended up soaking alot of them in some diesel and lighting them up then cutting out the base.

looks like a Dodge WC-1 or WC-12 from WWII. Hard to tell from the small picture, the grill looks rounded and not flat like the post war power wagons.

A forgotten little ripper. Mag case, 13,500. 3hp. Be able to do more than the little saws after you get done with the brush junk. No dealer support, but what you really need them for?

NEW IN BOX Makita EA4300FRDB Chainsaw | eBay

If you go Echo, check for promo events at local dealers. Mine has one on the 30th.

It's a Modified Dodge WC40 1/2 ton Military truck There is a couple video links to it below(first 2). Have over 3000 hrs in my build time. Have put over 32,000 miles on it since finishing it.

Scroll down on the link to see the build albums.

Rear handle 194 is also my vote, will cost around 400$ and if you do a muffler mod it’s real close to a stock 201 cut wise.

Do the 194's have a catalytic muffler?

The ms 201 is a very good and light saw. Just remove the spark arestor, and drill an extra 3/8 hole in the muffler. Or buy an second hand ms 200 also a good saw.

No, I have a ms 194t and it’s a good little saw, I have a bunch of local tree guys running 193/194t for the small ones and they have a few that ar2”e 6-7 years old still running with lots of use

Both good choices but sounds like he wanted cheaper than 7-800$ for a 201 and way people think 200’s are made of solid gold for a nice one it’s probably out also. More between the 2511 and 194 or even cheaper at the ms212 Stihl maybe but I think the 194 is a better choice lighter and probably same power with known build quality. The 162,172,182 and 212 are kind of an unknown at the moment

In my area finding a good deal on a good used saw is very slim. I don't know why but that's how it's always been. The only thing in this size of saw available with 1 hour drive is a 194T for $40 MORE than a new one.

I swung by a dealer on my lunch and put hands on the top handle version of the 2511 and 194. The 2511 is 2lbs lighter on paper, but only feels a little bit lighter. If I was in a tree all day it would probably make a difference, but for what I'm doing I don't think it will. The Stihl looks/feels a little higher quality, or maybe that's just what I'm used to.

    Dunno.

Either will work but unless it gets a full port job the 194 should be more powerful. Get the narrow kerf .043 picco on it if you buy one
