14" Chainsaw | Bad Boy Gas-Powered Tools Have seen their mowers in more places and some of them are now the top end (or at least most expensive) in the lineup. Recently saw an add for their gas saws as well. Just curious if they were making these themselves and it was a new build completely or just a branded husky or echo or whatever. Don’t know much about the company and was curious. Thanks.
Interesting. I hadn't seen these, didn't know BB was in the power tool arena. On the website it says "Take advantage of high RPMs with this legendary chainsaw." If it's new...can it be legendary? Also shows they have a weedeater, hedge trimmer and edger.
I only see two saws there and they look to be the same only one with a top handle and one rear handle
Well I do have one of their ZT mowers and have been very happy with it. They were just coming on board a few years back around here and I got a great deal on it , since then the prices have gone up quite a bit. To me it sort of reminds me of a copy of an older Scag. It runs great (Kawasaki power), cuts great and stripes really nice. So far no issues. Not sure about a saw though. I am very stuck in my ways as to what I like in that department. Next time I stop at OPE dealer for Bad-Boy I will have to look and see what they are all about.
When I browse FBM for saws I've seen their advertisements and thought it was a joke. At the price it seems like Chinese junk.
They are Briggs and Stratton / ferris / simplicity mowers in stihl colors as far as what I've read. I'm sure there is a stihl "expert" that will eventually chime in to correct me if I'm wrong.
Seeing this it is even easier to say no. Not a fan of the Briggs. I know , they have been around forever but over the years I have had my fair share that had issues. Maybe it is just me. Willing to bet it costs more than other brands , you have to figure the cost of the orange paint is more.
Yeah Briggs isn't what it once was! But in line with larger commercial models like that...IIRC we paid somewhere in that range for a Hustler Diesel Z at work 4-5 years back.
