I wish I could send you some rain. We had 8” in three days here. Still waiting on the leaves to dry out so we can burn them. Our burn ban was lifted yesterday. My name is Mike, and I'm a hoarder.
76????!!! Holy smokes man! It’s 12 degrees here at the house! We have 18” of new snow, with more on the way tonight. My drive to pick up my son from school today. This was an hour after the plow came through.
Nice Lopi! You just can’t beat those things. I don’t know about you, but my old Lopi CRANKS the heat.
36/65 2 walleye last evening. Nothing worthy for the freezer though. I reached "Dennis temperatures" in the shack though.....just a touch over 90!!!
57/49 here today, rain this evening. Planning to refill a tote this afternoon and get it under cover before it rains. Refilled the boiler this morning with a mix of black locust, red oak, and black walnut. Clearing pasture / old fence row in the evenings after work, currently working on some significant hedge tree trees. If I can get everything lined up, I'll haul them my Dad this weekend.
Cold, dreary and snow on and off all day, but we reached the 30's. Cash Larue , heard this morning Denver was supposed be dumped on, do you know if it happened and what part of Denver?
I was just wondering if you were gettin it up there. We’ve got over two feet of snow here at the house. Still snowing hard too. Early start to winter.
Oh boy! Our forecast is ~4" depending on how often I check it lol. I have some super fond memories from being snowed in living in Bellvue (south of Livermore).
No worries, sympathetic hot flashes from husbands on the Bullchitting thread, it'll pass, just open up the doors and windows
It is fun most of the time. I’ve spent the last couple of days plowing, shoveling and most importantly… playing with the kids. The boys would rather play in the snow than go to Disney land. I love it, because they are whipped at the end of the day.
Sorry, I missed the second part. Sounds like it’s snowing hard in Denver, per my parents. But this storm seems to be mostly affecting eastern Colorado. We have friends in Strasburg and Kiowa. They both reported to me that it’s whiteout conditions there. Sounds like travel conditions out east are basically impossible.
