My friends and I spent last weekend at the Cabin on the Kanc. Alot of the waterways were way low. This allowed me to walk across the Swift (Not so Swift) River, a short walk behind the cabin Above the 1st picture is a TV icon. That'll kick off a sideshow. Thanks for sharing the slideshow. It looked like you had some very nice weather. The area where the waterfalls were was quite something.
It was too warm to start, for us. 70's the 1st day. A bit of rain early one morning. No real issue. Having low water this year, makes the river areas look very different. Not in a bad way, just different in a good way.
Great idea! I've walked the areas many times over the years. Never found anything except some leverite
Hey MikeInMa really enjoyed the slideshow! Beautiful area and cozy digs. Nice place to share with some other Old Codgers. Wish I could have dropped by to say Hi. I'm a Grumpy Old Coot but still would have fit right in!
This same group of old codgers have been doing this for decades. We started with winter camping trips, in tents, on the snow in m8d-February. Lots of good memories from those trips. Making new memories with cabin-camping.
Looks like a good time was had by all. How many times a year do you go there? I know you also go during the Winter. Does Truckaa go too?
