Mama take me back to 1995...

One of the first tacomas. Thing is super clean and has 218K miles. I don't think I'd pay the 6,750 bucks they want though.

Since the last time I checked, I found a transmitter has been installed in a town north of me by DTV. Here is what I'm expected to get OTA if I have a good 30' outdoor antenna along with an additional booster

    upload_2024-11-5_2-26-5.png

Another booster says I will get this
    upload_2024-11-5_2-29-29.png

And yet a 3rd place says this
    upload_2024-11-5_2-31-6.png

And then this is what the FCC says
    upload_2024-11-5_2-37-28.png

So technically, yes, I should be able to get OTA

Had a 2 man GTG at my house on Sunday. Took me 6.5 hours to buck up and noodle the log from my silver maple tree. Still a lot of branches to clean up. IMG_20241103_172323~2.jpg IMG_20241103_172245~2.jpg IMG_20241103_172224.jpg

I am glad my mailbox will no longer be stuffed with political junk mail. My phone should ring less. Now, I need to get through the Medicare Advantage junk. :deadhorse:

Unless you're really cheap and buying a tiny TV, that's really not an issue.

The second link you provided pretty much spells it out. Too many people, younger ones TBH, don't realize that all they need is an antenna to get OTA stations. I helped a coworker out wanting to catch a game on TV and he just moved into his new house and didn't have Internet/ cable yet. 25 bucks and a decent indoor antenna and he guy the station in.

All it takes is an antenna. They were being given away when tv first went digital.
