Looks like a cheap C.A.D. fix! Between getting ready to buy a log splitter with a lift and recently buying an Echo CS-355T there's no way that I can rationalize getting one. Show me a deal like that after the holidays & I'd mainline that saw! I'm happy with the CS-355T. I don't know its actual weight, but it's very easy to run with one hand. It makes cutting small stuff in the saw buck go fast! If you get it, I will look forward to reading your impressions!

 

Did you get one? I have a no name brand one from Amazon, $83 I think it was. It's a good little saw. It has a 10" bar and 1 bar nut.

 

I'm tempted just to buy one for my grandad. He is 84, but uses a MS180 almost every day. Wondering if this is lighter/ handier for lighter duty chores on the ranch.

 

They are very light. Has a lot of power for such a small saw.

 

I used to have a similar saw from Amazon. Agreed, it was a little powerhouse for what it was. Too much to one-hand it safely anyway.

I don't need 8 of the 10 saws I have now. Plus I'm buying one from a fella on here. Lol. I want one of these to beat on or when a nephew wants to help me. Here, run this. Lol

 

By beat on I mean port the snot out of it.

 

So how long before I can buy a gas saw cheaper than a gallon of bar oil??

Well, I have clicked that ebay link twice now. My thumb hovered over the buy it now button............... but I resisted. It's hard for me to pass on a good deal. I keep telling myself I don't need it, I don't need it.

 

Resisting 5-6 times actually saves you enough money to buy an echo 2511T or 2511P. PM me for more financial advice.

 

I'm gonna get good at resisting when I'm outta work for 3 months.

 

I got one. It's strong. Have cut 12 inch firewood with it. Only thing i don't like is the clutch cover and the fuel and oil caps are fiddley to work with.

Look at all the money you will save. Probably enough to get that new 2511 ported.

 

Yeah, I wish it worked that way. Probably have to pay around $7000 for surgery. Monthly bills will still be due for the 3 months I'm outta work. Probably end up trying to sell a couple saws instead of buying any.
