Somehow this bolt got snapped, probably a log hit the andiron with enough force. I'm sure these bolts can
become bridle over time. Hopefully I can get the other andiron bolt out in one piece an see what's left of the broken bolt. Anyone here ever replace one of these Andirons, apparently the bolts for these also
secure the glass retainer on the bottom.

    You are correct.

You can call to find out the correct size. They might even send one to you.

Got an email back from Lorin at Woodstock stoves, the size of the andiron retainer bolts is
    5/16-18 x 2.5" (either grade 5 or grade 8)
maybe this info will help somebody else out.
Now I have to see if I can extract the broken off piece, may not attempt that until later in the wood burning season.

Just FYI, if you replace that with a stainless steel bolt, coated in nickel based high temp anti seize, you'll not have to fool with it again...stainless handles heat better than carbon steel, and the anti seize will allow you to remove it easier in the future.
It doesn't appear that getting that bolt out should be too hard, I assume the hard part will be getting the threaded part of it out of whatever it's stuck in? Have pics of that part?

Yikes, how do you get the piece stuck in there out? If you don't get it out, will that andiron stay put? I've never taken one off.
