Lots of irons in the fire right now.

Building a small privacy fence around the patio. Steel posts with cedar slats. Got the flanges for the posts drawn up in CAD and my son is going to cut them out the next time they run the burn table at work, then my BIL is going to weld it all up. I'm an OK welder but he's really good and it will bother me forever if it doesn't look right.

Started a cherry pantry for my mom tonight. Mostly just got some cracks and knots filled with epoxy. Should be fairly quick as long as I can get out there a couple mornings or evenings a week.

Trip to TX next week, day job, and try to stick a deer or two if I get a chance.

I have no business complaining after what happened down south recently, and we do need this water....

But, that much at once could make for a very interesting ride to work tomorrow morning.

Tom Brady being in the broadcast booth is just one more reason not to watch the NFL.

You know, I thought he'd suck at announcing. I'm fine with him now that I've watched a few of his games he's called

I no longer watch NFL, but I really don't like Brady. I thought he was a drama queen on the field and sidelines.

I didn't like Brady as a player. I thought he'd be bad as an announcer, but because of his experience as a player, and for a long time, that makes him a better announcer.

He has been possessed. The money owns his soul. He will not help the less fortunate, and he will pay the price in eternity.

My interpretation of the image is that the man is greedy and selfish, and basks in his own wealth without compassion for others. He is comparable to Ebenezer Scrooge before the ghosts of Christmas enlightened him and saved his soul.

I finally have all the digging done in the trench for my new water line. I'm glad for that. I'll run the new line in the morning, and replacing the earth will be much easier than removing it. I'll then take the afternoon to do something more relaxing.

I must say, if this is what all my dreams were made of, I'd wake up with my heart racing less often.

Today is one of those fall mornings... frost on the grass, quiet, almost no traffic on our normally busy road. Steam coming off the neighbors pond, brilliant leaf colors all around, a light wiff of roasting wood wafting across the yard from the chimney...then one of our outdoor cats walks up next to me and starts horking up a hairball...:picard::rofl:
