31* here. Hell of a jump today with it supposed to be near 70. With it forecasted to be around 70 thru Wed, guess this is Indian Summer around these parts.
Can we still say Indian Summer? Lost my list of approved words :BrianK:

Weather was gorgeous yesterday. Spent some time mulching leaves and putzin with me tractors. All but 2 are ready for the winter storage. Turned off the heat and let the kitties have the catio for the day. They've been deprived since the cold settled in. They stayed out until we dragged them in around dark last night. Should get some more time out there today and by the looks of it most of this week too.

Hope to sit and do a little bird watching this afternoon and maybe a bit of evening grilling. Tried to sit out there this morning with me coffee and watch the group of turkeys visiting, But was to dang chilly for me!

I can't imagine the pain that must cause. I hope you heal as quickly as can be expected. How long does something like that take, assuming no complications?

Weather has been amazing. No heat since Sunday night. Nit pickin at the to do aka honey do list as we ready for the cold season. Haven't got as much done as I'd like cause me and Brodie have enjoyed this weather. Kitties have been soakin up the sun in the catio once its warmed up a bit. They enjoyed some long afternoon naps while Brodie an I have putzed outside playing sticks and critter watching.

Put a motion security light on the garage that only activates after dark. The one that was there was a only motion and went off during daylight hours. Need to add another on the house aimed at the walkway to the driveway as the back porch light doesn't light it enough. Got to get ready for the early darkness coming soon!!

Last 2 days the maples have dropped most of their leaves. Afraid to mess with them as they are so dry. But I supposed I'll do a round of mulch/blow to the woods on Saturday.
