No More Cross Stacking Here

This is an old kids play set cemented in the ground , rather than tare it out, I have been using it as a small wood shed, past couple years. Holds almost 2 cords
Now all I need is some U bolts to attach the pallets , Next up put a actual roof on .

Good deal HD. We have a clothesline that's about 16' long cemented into the ground that has been giving me ideas. Looks great man.

I have to move wood in there but I just don't care for cross stacking

 

yeah my 40 year old kids don't play on it anymore

 

And you can teach the grand kids how to cut stack and split firewood... And I'm not kidding either...

 

Aww man, but they looked so nice!!! It's a pain though, trust me I know. I end up sorting out all my splits and stacking them nicely on the trailer, before I stack them where I'm *actually* going to stack them!

 

I guess it's easier if you're an old pro with a lot of practice, but I don't want to practice, I just want to get the stuff stacked

 

I wasn't making fun of them! Sorry ! I just like the look of cross stacks!

too bad - get the right swing range working and you wouldn't have to tip the beer can.

 

I used to take my kids to a close by school playground
The swings there were commercial duty but, ( I only weigh 150 pounds) while I was swinging on one of them it just so happened at that time, the deal where it swings back and forth at the top , bolt or whatever wore through and broke, I hit the ground and it knocked the wind out of me and the chain that was still attached wrapped around my little finger and broke it.
Good thing is it happened to me instead of a kid.
It just so happens my mother's friend was a playground monitor worked at the school, so I told her about it and she said they (the adults) swing on them all the time.
So the whole playground got inspected and fixed up
