Took a little break this afternoon from working in the woods to take a walk in an area that I haven't walked in years.
Picked up mama and the dogs and we headed out.
I came across some up rooted trees, probably from this past April's heavy snow.

There were a handful of trees growing in a wash with very shallow rocky soil. This one kept hold to a pretty good sized rock.

I'm building 2 water crossings for seasonal streams.

Both of them are for access for a little 30 ac. "Thinning for wildlife and Forrest health", at least that's what the NRCS calls it. This is contracted work for them on my land. So far a pretty sweet deal. They're paying for that excavator a little at a time.:D

Me either. Apparently they are very big worldwide and are going for the US market. The components are the same as many "domestic" machines with Cummins, kawasaki engines and hydraulics. They claim to be #1 in worldwide wheel loader sales.
I figure that my 400-500? hours a year won't hurt it and for the same money I'd be in a 4000ish hour used brand name machine.

Canadian border VT , there is a dealer here, in Hartland, with a few smaller machines in stock. I hadn’t heard of the brand until these guys started selling them.
