Morning. We have some affect of hurricane whatchamcallilit now. Window and rain.
I planned an early trip to the State History Center for a lecture, but didn’t feel like batting commenters and wet roads.

may run look at a subcompact tractor today. Nothing done firewood or treetop work since the spring so we will see how the next week goes.

It sounds like rain was a huge problem with the storm. I feel sorry for those affected.

Morning all. I feel guilty saying that it is sunny, warm and gorgeous out here in Moose Jaw, SK. Windy though. We battled headwinds all day yesterday while driving. Wind is going to be around for a couple of days.
Laundry, grocery shopping, housecleaning on the agenda for today. We had a nice visit with campinspecter's sister yesterday evening. We will be seeing her again tomorrow.

    Everyone have a great day.

You're making good time on the return trip. I think.

It must be nice to park it for a couple of nights.

I think for three nights in a row we didn't even unhitch from the RV. Long days driving. Sunday we will hit the road again. We hope to meet up with a cousin I haven't seen in 60+ years for a visit. Then visit campinspecter's other sister and then head for home.

Planning to saw some lumber today.
Sam "somehow" knocked the fuel filter off the Kubota yesterday, so we get to fix that first.

    Have a blessed day everybody!

Morning all. Another gorgeous day here. Wind came up yesterday but not as bad as the day we were traveling. Colder last night as the furnace ran more. Day time temps are quite warm though.

With his twelve disciples, Jesus celebrated the Passover meal. While doing so, He added the memorial service of Communion as the Passover festival was going to be fulfill in His crucifixion. As we participate in the Communion service, it will bring to mind all that Jesus sacrificed for us. Not only his human death for our sins but also his complete separation from his Father. He did that for us so that we may never have to be separated from the Father. Although we die the human death, it becomes a sleep until Jesus returns for all his children who believe in him, sleeping or alive. What a glorious sight that will be when he returns in the clouds of angels to take us all home.

24 “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many,” he said to them. 25 “Truly I tell you, I will not drink again from the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.” Mark 14: 24, 25

    Happy Sabbath, everyone.

Our home area is without power this morning due to the remains of a typhoon. T.Jeff Veal hasn't checked in yet. Is there anyone else down in that area that has been affected by the hurricane?

Yeah I'm wondering about him too. According to the weather channel the highest recorded wind was 100mph and it was in Georgia. Haven't seen any video/pics from Georgia other than the Atlanta and Valdosta (almost on the Florida border)

I just talked with a friend of mine that lives north of Tampa but a bit inland from the coast. He never lost power and only got about 3 inches of rain. For him it was a non event.
