It was fun flying around checking out the area. I covered a grid 5 miles X 3 miles in about 1 1/2 hours. Flying all the creeks and tree lines checking things out.
I agree and got 20+ acres and a 30x40 horse barn But no horses… have couple of neighbors in front fields my opinion; when setting $200 dollars a month on fire does not matter you can have 1 horse But remember they are a herd animal
Owner was kind enough to tell me, “he got out about 7:30 last night. They can cover 92 miles in a day. I don’t know what direction he went…” I mainly explored the areas where he has been taken riding. I’m only 1/2 mile away. So I’ll keep looking on and off with the drone to see if he ever shows up. I can search about a 1 mile radius.
I was up north. We got the creek crossing finished with 4 loads, 12 yards of stone. I used the push whacker to clear the entire easement into our 80, then cleared most of the truck path up to where the turnaround is. I retrieved my SD cards from my trail cams. I am definitely moving my tree stand to that turnaround area. There's 3-4 really nice bucks that regularly walking past this year. Hopefully letting the smaller bucks go pays off for me this year.
Weird that Ryobi would have lead/acid batteries in there since everything else they make that is battery operated is lithium ion. But, after Googling, it seems they did.

Do y'all have em get harnessed up and hang em? Our guy did...doesn't take too long hanging there to figure out why the harness needs to be adjusted and worn properly, all the time...those guys that just wear their harnesses loosely will be begging to be a chic after hanging there waiting on rescue for a while!!
I think we will be hanging this week. I know its not a pleasant feeling having the plums all smashed up.
This 3 hour time difference always messes me up. Class starts in 15 minutes. I've been up for 5 hours now.

It's temporary (and will be tidied up and secured better once all the joists are replaced in the room, and i replace the strapping and the removeable vinyl ceiling). I'm insulating the ceiling for this winter, but next year, I'm planning on redoing the roof, and putting a half storey with living space upstairs, at which point the insulation will be transferred into the upstairs ceiling, the vinyl ceiling will be taken down again, and the next big project will be to replace the whole electric system, and new wiring can be ran through these joists with today's methods. At that point I can put up a nicer ceiling material than vinyl soffit. If I put it above the joists, it will be in my way, and harm's way, when I build the second floor, and I'm certainly not trying to unhook these ancient wires to run them through the new joists when they're going to be replaced relatively soon. So ultimately, they're best off being underneath in the meantime.
What is a half story, like a loft? Are those trusses full logs? Cool! When was this house built, or is that normal for NFLD?
