Lol. Lot of truth in that statement. That saw does have automatic oiling...sort of. It pumps in and out with the throttle. The issue arises when some knucklehead makes long full throttle cuts that his ms241 should me making. The auxiliary oiler helps some but not quite enough. I do enjoy the lil bugger though.
One of those Poulans was my first saw , a Micro 25 deluxe. I rode my bicycle 5 miles each way to the power equipment dealer to buy it. Still remember riding home with the saw in a plastic case balanced on the upper tube and a six-pack of oil in paper cans hanging from my handlebars. I thought I was a rock star when I got home and started cutting. Sold if quite a few years ago but maybe should have kept it for the shelf and the memories that went with it.
Yeah it was like the green one on the left next to the red saws. It had that style gas cap with external threads and not the one the right that has an internal style thread. Looked like this one.
Can't remember if I posted this before or not but this is the largest tree I have personally dropped.
You're triggering my PTSD. I HATE DEALING WITH THAT CRAP. Bonus points when its full of vines too. Ugh.
My wife and her garden club friends all love it when I bring them small fresh cedar rounds for their closets.
