I can only recommend a hookaroon(pickaroon) for pulling rounds out of the pickup. I’m partial to the stihl version. But the blue one (logrite) is just the same thing without the stihl name/ logo. Hookaroons
All stacked up besides a couple wheelbarrows of chunks im..stoked on this variety because all of it is usable for inside and the smoker
10 loads at minimum..the 5-6 heavy load turned into ONLY 2 cords according to the cord calculator on the home page
I've been splitting and stacking the splits right into my skidsteer bucket (as high as I can get them to stay put) and driving them down to the stacks, then stacking the splits right out of the bucket and into the stacks. Never have to bend over. I like not having piles of splits to deal with...cut out the "middle man" and it never touches the ground from th4 splitter to the stack.
Tailgate to table..this arrangement worked even better the wheelbarrow wasn’t necessary i was able to toss the splits right in front the rack…the next row will be done same way
The logs on the other side of the splitter i took off truck before reversing in because last time i dug up the ground with my bumper
Today jbsawman improved my system greatly…let me use his splitter to split up some nice straight hickory poles and a maple after work…was able to back rite up to my rack and stack it immediately
