    Some guy bought a new fridge for his house. To get rid of his old fridge, he put it in his front yard and hung a sign on it saying: "Free to good home. You want it, you take it." For three days the fridge sat there without even one person looking twice at it. He eventually decided that people were too un-trusting of this deal. It looked to good to be true, so he changed the sign to read: "Fridge for sale $50." The next day someone stole it.


    One day I was walking down the beach with some friends when someone shouted...."Look at that dead bird!" Someone looked up at the sky and said..."where???"


    While looking at a house, my brother asked the real estate agent which direction was north because, he explained, he didn't want the sun waking him up every morning. She asked, "Does the sun rise in the north?" When my brother explained that the sun rises in the east, and has for sometime, she shook her head and said, "Oh, I don't keep up with that stuff."

    What qualities do acts of honor have?

    A moment of truth
    : In every case, someone recognized that something was wrong and was willing to face it.

    Risk of sacrifice: To do the honorable thing always requires a sacrifice, whether of time, money, reputation, comfort, safety or of life itself.

    The little things that are good can ripen into big things that are good. But don’t forget that the little things that are bad can also ripen into big things that are bad. This can also apply to decisions. Choose which you most want.

    You are subject to your environment. Therefore, select the environment that will best develop you toward your desired objective.

    The road to success starts when you are inspired to make the effort. Inspiration starts when you are motivated to dissatisfaction with things as they are. Therefore, inspirational dissatisfaction is the strongest single force in your success system that never fails.

    Matter will remain at rest or continue in uniform motion in the same straight line unless acted upon by some external force.

    It takes less time to achieve success when you concentrate your thought and effort on learning a lot about a little and becoming an expert than when you dissipate your energies by trying to learn a little about a lot.

    Do what you’re afraid to do…go where you’re afraid to go...when you run away because you are afraid to do something big, you pass opportunity by.

    A willingness to learn can turn temporary failure into success in the long run.

    Motivation is that which induces action or determines choice. It is that which provides a motive. A motive is the “inner urge” only within the individual which incites him to action, such as an idea, emotion, desire, or impulse. It is the hope or other force which starts in an attempt to produce specific results.

    The greatest motivator of all is love! A husband or wife is, or should be, the greatest environmental influence for any man or woman.

    You may use reason to motivate yourself and appeal to reason to motivate others, but the inner urge of your feelings, emotions, instincts, and ingrained habits gives you the go power that puts you into action.

    To motivate, tug at the heartstrings!

    To hear does not necessarily imply attention or application. To listen always does. So don’t just hear, listen!

    It takes more energy to overcome inertia in getting started from a standstill than to continue the momentum of a moving body when it is once in motion.
