Wow. I've slept in a car by choice camping but never because of a situation like your's. I sure hope that didn't last to long for you.
~bump~ I've tried out a couple since starting this thread. Actually, I've been looking at the honda pilot and have tried out 3 different ones. They seem pretty nice. I just can't justify paying the prices they are asking for them. I think maybe by summer, they'll drop prices a bit more. I looked at a rav4, ultra low mileage, but it was listed at higher than the sticker price was 5 years ago!!! Yeah right, like that's going to happen!
That’s what happened ob all used cars, ended up with a new one because it was just as cheap or cheaper.
We , after research, just purchased a 2025 Pilot for my BW. I hate to pay what it cost, but it sure is smooth! And it will haul 8 people and a lot of junk- no firewood. NA V6/ no turbo/ 10sp auto…and 26.5 hand calculated mpgs on last tank. As for longevity and reliability? That will remain to be seen- but according to past history, I like my chances.
Looks like we are right there with ya man, I dunno and it seems like nobody else does for sure either...
Sorry Guys….. Beautiful Wife, Best Woman, etc. The Pilot was for her… but she’s great. Loves burning wood, can build a fire and…. One of her first big purchases for me like 15-16 yrs ago- hold on- A Brand New Stilh 362 that “stihl” runs like it’s brand new.. How did I get so lucky?
