    Chilly most of the day yesterday and last night. First fire in the stove for this season. I expect to have another one tonight or tomorrow morning. High today in high 50's then 40 tonight. We don't get much, if any, solar gain here until the leaf drop.

    Leaving about 7:30 or so, heading to....
    ATHENS, GA...got tickets to see the DAWGS play...Miz Carol is :banana::banana::dancer::dancer::dex::dex:...
    We're taking our good friends, Bro Stan and Miz Suzanne, they're big Clemson fans, after last week's loss, he's wearing a GA DAWGS shirt...lol...
    Rain should be gone by midmorning.

    Morning all. Rainy weather today. Supposed to clear up tomorrow.
    Went to see the tidal bore yesterday but it wasn't that spectacular. Rain today might make a difference. No moon so the tide wasn't that high.

    10 women were waiting for the bridegroom to arrive to claim his bride. They dozed off and then suddenly he arrived. 5 women were ready to join the group as they had extra oil for their lamps. 5 women had to rush around to get more oil and arrived too late for the wedding. Why did Jesus tell this story?
    Are we as Christians too busy with daily life to take time to study our Bible, connect with the Holy Spirit and prepare for Jesus soon coming? I know I can get sidetracked very quickly. Jesus is returning soon and he wants all of us ready to meet him when he comes. What a glorious event that will be when he arrives in the clouds of angels!!! Please take time to open your hearts to Jesus and have him fill you with the Holy Spirit.

    Morning all. Overcast but not rainy. Folks were saying yesterday that the rain was badly needed as wells were drying up. It was warmer than what we are used to when it rains.
    Laundry, grocery shopping and housework today.

    We really enjoyed the day/game with our friends, we got some light sunburn, high in upper 80's.

    A guy we sold two pigs to a couple years ago ttexted yesterday asking if we wanted 5 free pigs.... they are moving to town and have to get rid of their critters.
    Of course I want 5 free pigs!
    The boys and I picked em up last evening.
