    Uncomfortable and weird to have security cameras moving and looking at you the whole time. I get it, the uber types like security.

    Security cameras means they have actual footage of you pulling in all those Benjamins.

    If the IRS started locking up firewood sellers, I would probably get to met a lot of my fellow FHC members. We could start an inmate chainsaw gang and clear roadsides of fallen trees instead of picking up trash.

    I am very watchful on deliveries when nature calls. I assume every home has one or more cameras.

    Yesterday's delivery of two ricks. Not familiar with the two devices mounted at both ends of the porch.

    Very possible. The homeowner had a security camera mounted high-up under his porch, so thought these could be motion detectors. I have motion detectors along my road that operate off of solar power. Installed to protect my firewood stash.

    Slaying the firewood business, but getting tired of all the driving. Clocked 190 miles today delivering three face cords. Came up a Jackson short of nine Benjamins. Last place was pure nasty, dog piles everywhere and the deck smelled like pizz. Ninety plus degrees didn’t help with the aroma.

    My wife is getting paid well for me dealing with the nasty. I put a backup pair of shoes in my truck last night to keep my floormat clean after triggering landmines. I should add on a poop surcharge.

    About 45 years ago, we would have coffee in a shop that had a waiter instead of waitress. We used to tease him about how to get better tips all the time......he was a good sport about it and took it in stride.

    Seems I can share those "secrets with you now that you came up a little short. :handshake:

    Wear a low cut shirt and swing those hips a little more while you dealing with the customers! Don't forget to flirt and remember to laugh at whatever they tell you! Change your name to "Klinger".......

    You're welcome!

    :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    I actually do a lot of stuff to receive tips, but my hips are old and arthritic. I bagged $4,500 in tips last year on top of my sales. I have encountered and got to know a lot of other firewood sellers in the Nashville region and they are amazed that I get tips. I have a lot of secrets about that I will not divulge.

    Some cool crisp air has arrived in middle Tn for this weekend. My phone has exploded all day with orders. Made a second delivery into Nashville today for someone who wanted firewood for tonight (four face cords total).Three additional Benjamins for my efforts. Will easily top 10k for this month.

    My wife wasn’t happy about me doing a second Nashville trip today. However, we had the truck loaded in twenty minutes with a third cord each of cherry, hickory and white oak. Did the 120 mile round trip with unloading, wheelbarrowing and stacking in three and a half hours. My Cummins turbo diesel was flat out humming through back country roads.

    Then loaded three face cords for tomorrow’s deliveries. Then split and stacked 1/2 a face cord with my head lamp. Crazy firewood life.

    IMG_1069.jpeg Busy past week with a big delivery schedule tomorrow. $4,500 or so in the past seven days. Was counting my cash haul today and had all my windows down. Hit a wind tornado and cash started flying out my window. Pulled over and think I found most of it. What a dork I am.
    Three and a half ricks going out tomorrow. Two hickory, one white oak and 1/2 cherry.
