Splitting wood off my tailgate into wheelbarrow then taking the wood and dumping it in front of where in going to stack it
Thats the way I like to do it too time and energy permitting. Stack the stuff after work when I need some alone time and silence. Nice old Ferd. got 1 of the same vintage as a wood hauler. Not sure about the level on the box side though.
The level was for getting the splitter level had to put shims under the wheels because i live on a hill
Great system. I've done the same every now and then. Lately its been just split it off the PU. Luckily I can back up to half of my stacks to toss splits. Just need racks to empty now.
jeez, and I thought I overloaded a wheelbarrow! Get an 8 cubic foot one with dual wheels and never go back.
i know that problem im standing there looking at the pile thinking where im stacking this! Im trying to keep the rounds clean and out of the mud because alot of it will be used for barbecue
MMMMM maybe Rick we need to weld some sideboards on your wheelbarrow that way you would be able to fill it more JB
I like cutting and splitting firewood but I don’t want to handle it any more than I have to. Working smarter is definitely the way to go.
That's a nice setup! The less fumbling with the wood the better. Extra points for wheelbarrow stacking. I think it's full!
Got dark on me early! And ofcourse my spot light burned out ordering more bulbs tonite and finishing splitting tomorrow morning before the rain!
Maybe he should get a loader MMM The equipment sickness begins Maybe a dump truck or dump trailer ?? then a bigger splitter more saws
I actually posted a thread about having a hydro level when splitting Does a Hydro Need to be Level When in Use?
Hey Ricky , that tailgate is starting to look like BRADS. Way to go. Look out BRAD he is running a close second place and right on your tail.
