Hope you continue to have positive results.

Lori goes in Fri at Lahey for a hysterectomy . A CT scan in June saw something in her uterus. Biopsy in July showed pre-cancerous cells so they wanted to do it then. BUT cause she's on the liver transplant list and had complications during her first TIPS procedure, they had to have a conference with the transplant team to get it OK'd.

So we spent a whole day down there 2 weeks ago with labs, tests, meetings. It's a dangerous procedure even though it's a robotic laparoscopic one as they're not sure how her liver will react. Nothing is ever routine or normal with Lori's medical endevours. If the pathology report 7 days later comes back clean she goes right back on the transplant list.

NOAA released a report a week ago saying they believe Sept-Nov will be warmer and wetter in the New England area than "normal/average" (whatever those are anymore).

Hummingbird activity has really dropped since last week. I was filling 2 feeders every day. Put out just one on Sat and it's 75% full still. Lots of cardinals, finches, woodpeckers, bluebirds, couple catbirds. Now it's the seed feeder I'm filling up most days.

Hoping that her liver bucks the trend and this procedure ends up being routine and everything comes back normal so she can get back on the transplant list ASAP.

Lori's surgery went well and no complications. She's in recovery for another hour or so then if no issues we're on our way home.

Not looking forward to the Labor Day traffic northbound out of Boston to SE NH though.

    Awesome!

Good luck with traffic through rte 1 in Saugus/Lynnfield and onto 95. After Lynnfield you should be OK to Kingston area.

It ended up taking about an hour and 45 min to get home. We go to the Lahey in Burlington MA (where the Jenkins Transplant division is. Dr Jenkins himself did her 2nd gall bladder surgery in 2018 due to it's complexity).
Traffic was heavy but not as bad as we thought it might be. At 2:45pm we expected normal rush hour + holiday traffic. But it was about just normal rush hour volume. Biggest slowdowns were I95N to I93N (30 min to go the 5-6 miles from the hospital to I93N and then I495N was slow. Sometimes use 95 all the way to Seabrook but 95 came to a halt at 93 (figured any way headed to the seacoast would be bumper to bumper).

She's pretty sore and exhausted today.

That time is coming up on us fast. Getting a couple of clear, cold mornings lately and opening shades/curtains during the afternoon to let the sun heat up the place before bedtime.

Got an email from Fallon's Home & Hearth today saying they are now offering sales, service and installation of Samsung HVAC products.

Looks like Harmans are now under the forge and flame banner. So is Vermont castings and Quadrafire along with pelpro.

When I was in the market for a Mini split, I heard some sad tales on the Samsungs. Might want to review the model your interested in carefully. Hopefully things have changed.
