Sometimes it is nice to vacuum clean out the tanks. No mess no fussing around. IMG_20240825_145828_(1080_x_1080_pixel).jpg

I know a guy that tried to suck out a gas tank with a shop vac. Didn’t work out well for him.

This dude was “building maintenance” or something, basically the owners know it all nephew that couldn’t hold down a real job. One year he was pulling out the snowblower and it didn’t want to run off choke. It was suggested he change the fuel and clean the carb. Removing the 4 bolts that held the fuel tank on was too much for a fella with nothing really to do so he duct taped a piece of garden hose on the end of the shop vac. When the gas vapors got to the motor on the shop vac he got a big surprise, a ride in the ambulance, some skin grafts and a few months off.

Unfortunately he did not learn anything from that experience. A year later the bathroom exhaust fan was making a squeaking noise. He decided to spray brake clean at it while it was on! :bug::faint:
