    My brother met a portable miller at the farm to mill the chestnut that died just before our big harvest. (Just sent my tax check in for that - it sucked)
    He was walking about and found another one we weren’t aware off. He has been working n a quest to discover more. We are both pleased at it is likely our forester grandfather who planted them .

    he was in college in the twenties, right when the death of American Chestnut was occurring. His likely motivation for tryin* to reestablish them
