    I found some white oak at the transfer station this morning. I’m not actively scrounging right now, but hey when it’s there…

    Good find Thom. With that recent storm I imagine a lot of wood will be making its way there.

    I scrounged these logs earlier this week at the compost center. Cherry, Norway maple, black and honey locust. Pushed into a huge pile and wet so not much to be taken. IMG_5896.JPG If I was retired or had no other wood sources I'd haunt it more frequently. Happened to have a brush hauling job.
