Taking my youngest daughter to buy her first vehicle this morning. Time flies when you’re having fun and spending money. She has worked hard and saved up for it. This will make things easier on her mother who will not have to drive her all over the place for work and multiple school activities she takes part in.
Understand Gasifier; looked at my wife when daughter got a speeding ticket … 90 days getting her to school( 35 miles 1 way) PT job and after school activities It was in excess of 150 miles a day I paid a great attorney and got it delayed until after her bday so no loss of driving.. wife and I went on weekend getaway while daughter moved and restacked 5 cord firewood by house for winter.. what’s your daughter looking at?? Mine choose Toyota Camry CPO
Holy cripes! Speeding tickets? Accidents? Glad things like that never happened to me when I was a young driver! Well, OK....but I had to take care of them by myself.
Yeah I know her mothers lead foot and my aggressive tendencies.. how do you think I knew who to call for speeding ticket She never asked that question.. just paid for atty and court costs and moved firewood to cover interest on dads credit card she learns one way the hard way.. I know the stuff I pulled learning to be an adult; tickets and fender benders don’t scare me.. just live thru it child
Picked the raspberries this morning and got deeeeestroyed by mosquitos. You could almost hear them crashing through the woods to come get me.
To reiterate; any parent raising children today should be on their knees in thankfulness’s; if only trouble was a few traffic issues I certainly am!
Our youngest is a happy camper! And her Mother is relieved to not have to be driving her all over the County with her work and activities.
Any idea about how much floor space that home will have? Looks small from the pictures. Does the ocean ever rise and flood out that area? I know the ocean can come up and flood the streets and lower levels of the homes here. It has done that twice just this year. Anything on the water's edge around here would cost a fortune. Nothing the average homeowner can afford now.
Kind of hard to say the measurements at the moment, maybe once the old house is removed (I presume that's their intention) it'll be easier to make an accurate guesstimate from the road. It's definitely no more than 20-something feet long on either side of the L shape. I'd say it's comparable to the house it appears to be replacing, possibly a smaller footprint but a more efficient design. I could live alone in it quite comfortably, but I'd put a garage in place of the old house. Extremely little chance the water will cause any serious damage, our harbour is very well sheltered.
It's a special kind of hot and humid here today. Got my outside chores done early and going to try to stay inside as much as possible this evening.
