Wow. Hope the tree guys are ok and wish the leo’s had a more effective aim. Sorry if that sounds harsh but to just start shooting people who aren’t trying to harm you or anyone else.. .

 

Let's see... the power lines were -

Getting close to a moonshine operation
Getting close to a method lab, as Chud mentioned
Getting close to a grow operation.

Or -

Some environmentalist who doesn't want trees cut, doesn't want plastic bags or straws legal anymore.

 

I have the ability to defend myself at all times in all places, just for this reason. The bad guy always gets to choose the time and place of the violence, the defender does not. I hope the tree guys heal fully.

Sad to see, but even worse is how they turned the article into a gun control issue.

 

Very sad to see this and yes “they” will use any opportunity and tragedy to further their agenda.

Man, it's getting bad out there! So glad I don't live in the city...seems like it turns people into animals... especially chitcago

 

A tree hugger is one thing, but too many "environmentalists" are becoming radical and sometimes violent...don't cut that tree down, because some 3 toe'd albino bat lives there, so to save the genetically flawed bat, we are gonna blow up this building full of people...yeah, that makes sense. (Not talking about a specific incident, just a hypothetical example)

 

You ask what's next in the title....it's not a bad idea to prepare for total collapse.

I have witnessed projects put on hold for crap like this too many times. A recent one was a greenfield Micromill in the California desert because of Joshua trees.
