Chainsaw Pics...

Not sure what you guys are complaining about. One "highly valuable" black walnut tree would buy a truckload of them.

 

No we are not. I think the auto makers are starting to see large sales declines from it too. Double digits fir some.

A buddy gave me these yesterday. Dropped them off when I was gone. I need to find out why he's mad at me...
The poo lan does have a mint 18" bar and chain with it that will fit my ported Dol-kita so theres that. Lol

 

So I took all that off the shelf because I needed the pole saw.
Gassed her up and proceeded to soak myself because of a shrunken tank grommet.
Think I'll go back to bed, ugh.....

 

Bummer bud.

 

Of course, I will try to get that mac running before sending it to Craigslist. The poo lan is trash can bound. Lol

Errbody around here thinks I collect saws for some reason.

 

Not sure what species of tree those are in your pics, but I would love to find some big straight logs like that someday

Yes, they are some decent specimens.
They'd be fun to make farwood outta, but I have to mill em......not so fun...I'd rather mill pine or poplar.

 

I made some smoking chunks, out of oak today, from one of the storm damage trees. Exercised another XS saw in the process.

 

My BIL gave me a pile of chain to sharpen. First one, every cutter on the right side looked like he hit rock.

 

Once you use a super jolly with a CBN wheel, that is far less concerning… I’d honestly peddle a saw to buy one before I went back to hand filing.

 

I need to convince him to buy full chisel only so I can grind. I don’t think keeping it outta the ground is an option. I’m going to need a 1/8th file too. Time to break out the 2.5x readers, lol.

 

LOL, I use 3.0 when grinding or filing…
