Sweating my arse off doing the smallest of chores outside today. :30-:45 out, 1 hour in the AC. Rinse/repeat.

We hit 74 f degrees here today!! I went and scrounged some Aspen from a neighbor on the hottest day of the year!

    What was I thinking?

Hope you are all staying cool!

78 heading to 88. I’m burning up my motivation to do anything outside. It’s about 14 trillion percent humidity outdoors. I envy those out west where the average humidity is a quarter of one percent, and a half on a bad day.

Uggh.... dew points in the 70's make it so you can't even work outside

Just had one hell of a storm come through. Trees and power lines down everywhere. No power. We had to get at least 2.5" of rain. My rain gauge said 3.5" but I didn't empty it from last evening's storm.
We have a really big pine out towards the front of the house. That big boy started to sway like I've seen once before. The oh $hit factor goes up. One Kentucky coffee tree was blowing so far over, I thought for sure it was gonna snap.

Jeez, not a drop here. We’re dangerously dry.

Cool cloudy summer 40's overnights a couple days, running the stove in the mornings. I've only had the swamp cooler on a handful of days.
