Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. 78°\99° clear. Gonna be another hot day. I'm working my 7AM-7PM shift this week, as Sawdust Man says, thankful for the AC. We got the vent pipe ran for water heater yesterday afternoon, maybe the gas line can be hooked up now.
Plan to process the cherry logs we got in after work tonight.
We did another 30 mile ride on the Honda SxS late evening/night to cool off. Got a nice sunset picture 20240714_201109.jpg

Morning all. Got up real early and went and did laundry. It was 73 F outside. Temps are climbing towards 86 F today. I don't know how much sightseeing we will get done as it is hot. Maybe just drive around with the AC going in the truck.

    Everyone have a great day.

    Good tropical Tuesday morning, members.

Hot and muggy. 73⁰ already, 93⁰ later. Dewpts in the 70's. Chance of thunder showers later.

Yesterday, I couldn't decide between splitting some wood or going for a walk. So, I did both. I split, moved and stacked a 2-wheel log dolly load of wood. Then, went for walk.

Today, no splitting. A walk will more than suffice.

We need to run a few errands this afternoon.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Morning all. Quite the lightening show last night with heavy rain and wind gusts. Sun is trying to come out this morning. On the move today.
Yesterday we stood on Mount Royal and went by the Olympic stadium. Saw parts of Old Montreal.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning everyone! Another hot and humid one here.
Yesterday around 2pm we lost cable, phone, and internet. A compressed gas? truck exploded about 5 miles from here taking out utilities and the road. Fortunately our electricity comes from a different direction cuz no AC would not have been fun. The interesting thing is that about a year ago a gasoline truck caught fire about 200 yards from this spot with similar results. My wife and I drove through the spot yesterday about 15 minutes before the fun began. The cable and internet came back on about 15 minutes ago.

Good afternoon, ya'll. Hope ya'll are having a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Mid 70's this morning, then got H&H (hot&humid), brewed up some thunderstorms, cooled down to 85°, with rain still in the area. Another 7AM-7PM shift day. We did get the cherry from the campground CSS last night, finished about 10PM.

    Good morning, members.

Another hot muggy day today. 72⁰/92⁰ humid. A cool front rolls through later this evening. Hopefully, it'll bring rain with it. We could use it.

There was severe weather about an hour north of us last night. Lots of downed trees and power outages. We can do without any of that.

I'll go for an early walk. Then have lunch with a friend.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Morning all. Daytime yesterday was hot. After lunch and a rest, we tackled getting into Quebec. In an hour, we went 18 kms. Once over the bridge, we drove along the waterfront and into the heart of Old Quebec with its narrow, winding one way streets. Ended up in a food festival area somehow. On the way home, we drove along the Plains of Abraham park. I thought it would be covered with elite housing but instead it has been protected by a park. Here is where the final battle between Britain and France happened for control of Lower Canada 1759. Britain won it at the cost of both leaders of the armies.

No thunderstorms last night, just light rain for a bit. Overcast and muggy this morning. We are going to tackle some more sightseeing today.

    Everyone have a great day.
