Well I ended up with 2 truck fulls yesterday going to try to get another couple trucks fulls tonight after work is there is any left. Will post pictures when I get home. Also it is definitely apple wood smells amazing cutting or especially when splitting.

    A smokin score for sure!
Seems awfully straight for regular apple.
You thinking of heating with it or using some for smoking?

Yea I’m not sure exactly what kinda tree it is but it’s definitely some type of apple variant. Also I plan on probably half and half with wood. One half firewood one half for the smoker Maybe more maybe less I dunno:whistle:

Ya done good! Nice and straight which is unusual for any type of apple. Good firewood and even better for the smoker.

Still have the apple I cut back in March to process. Wasn't easy getting a straight piece out of it. IMG_5097.JPG

Just grabbed my 3rd truck full of this apple tree might come back in the morning for the skinny’s but I got 90% of all of it. Bad news is one of my saws went down and no idea what’s wrong so gonna have to take it to the shop on Friday I reckon [IMG]

Pictures are of 2nd and 3rd load. I’ll post pics of the mountain of apple logs when I have a second and unload all this

Well I officially have all the apple split now time for the worst part…… stacking
I usually hand split everything but after I got a little before halfway through I was over it. This stuff was so twisted and knotted up. I went a borrowed a log splitter from my buddy’s pops I had to dig 2 little drainage ditches for him to get the splitter lol fair trade in my book 2 hours of digging for 2 days of using the splitter .[IMG]

Smart move bartering for the hydro. The apple I scored back when I was hand splitting wasn't easy to hand split.

Impressive amount there. Let us know how much it stacks out to.:stacker:

Oh even the majority of the straight sections weren’t really straight they just grew twisted it was no fun At all. And I hate stacking so I guess I’m bout to find out lol

I hand split everything and love it but this stuff after awhile got the better of me lol
I will definitely post pictures and the amount once I get it stacked but I’m definitely not looking forward to it

I still hand split. I process just enough to replenish previous year's use - ~3cord.

Get and stay on the 3yr plan, if you have room for ~12cord. It can be a challenge to get there. After burning 3yr, properly seasoned firewood, you’ll know why.
