Anyone have a setup for carrying their saws on a tractor fender. I'm working on cleaning up old trails and would like to be able to secure my top handle on the tractor just looking for ideas.
Just a 2 x 4 screwed to the fender. two slots cut in it and slip the bar down through it. I did it on the carry-all also and use it more often because there are two 2 x 4's that the bar goes through on it and it's much more stable. Can't see the slots in the picture but they are just bore cuts through the board with the saw that's gonna ride there.
Not a lot of good real estate there to mount anything. I don't have any ideas that do not involve tearing up that beautiful fender at least with some holes.
I would get a couple angle brackets and attach them to the back of the seat. Make a little shelf or box to put the saw in
Looks like you have a 3 pt hitch on back? Maybe fab up a small carry-all for saw, fuel and bar oil, etc. PS Yes, I agree that 330 looks pristine, I wouldn’t be drilling any unnecessary holes either. Reminds me of my beloved JD 214 that I completely restored from the bare frame out Eventually sold it though.
