We had a couple hours of thunderstorms and then some light rain last night after 8pm. The thunderstorms weren't that bad, was hoping for some good lightning displays but didn't get any.

We specialize in catching JTs off guard and bite them only once. We had severe T-Storms last evening no warning here. Lost thistle seed feeder to Mr/Mrs Racoon. Be going out shortly to check the other 7 feeders.

Da snacks be behind da zapper fence. He be lucky I didn't get the paint ball flinger quicker or he'd have a yellow spot on hiz azz. One of his bigger cousin got a hummingbird feeder last week. We got a video of dat big sob. Brodie and I weren't able to get out quick as dummy couldn't get his shoe's on. By the time we got out he had the feeder in his grasps. One woof from brodog and he was high tailing it. I couldn't get aim he was moving so quick. I think that was the one I did paint a spot on last year.

while stationed on a radar site in Finland MN, We had way too many black bears hanging around the house. I learned to leave them alone and stay away from them. One neighbor shot one of them during hunting season. Huge thing. The neighbor gave us a roast but I couldn't bring myself to cook it. I gave it away. Bears were looking in my windows. I had to keep the doors locked. They could figure how to get into most things when they were determined. Sometimes they came two or three together. The game warden tried to capture them in some sort of barrel trap, but never had any luck with that.

Power has been on and off for the last day or so. Trees down closing roads and power lines down. We lost power at about 10 pm due to the boomer and got it back around 1 yesterday. Thought we were all good, Waited a bit and put the genny away. Right about 6 another tree fell and took out the wires yet again. Power restored around 1 AM this morning.

A PITA, But at least we are all good. Many are still without power and could be days before they get it back. Hope all is well in your area!!
