I don't know the speed of the winds, but they are picking up here. Over night there was not much activity.
We have regular winds about 33 mph at the moment, we just had rain during the night. Will it stay west of us or is it just a matter of time, my bet, just a matter of time. https://www1.nationalgridus.com/PowerOutageMap I just noticed they backed off what time it will hit our area, yesterday and last night it was 6 a.m. TIMING...SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL BECOME SOUTHWESTERLY AND STEADILY INCREASE DURING THE MID TO LATE MORNING. WIND SPEEDS WILL PEAK BETWEEN 11 AM AND 5 PM BEFORE GRADUALLY SUBSIDING THIS EVENING. That was quick, the rain has really picked up, the winds got to be next.
Well that cold front moved in, the winds have picked up pretty good. More power outages starting to pop up around us. https://www1.nationalgridus.com/PowerOutageMap
All good here a little rain, wind was gusty only a few branches came down at work and right now it's 70* sunny with a calm wind
I think that I heard we might be in for another wind event in another week, we'll get the warm up and another cold front moving in. The Saranac Lake NY area. http://www.adirondackdailyenterprise.com/page/content.detail/id/539754.html
Tomorrow high is 60 then the bottom drops out on Sunday only in the 40's low 20's at night, no worries we know how to keep our homes warm
We had some pretty good winds here today, but nothing that took the power out. I have to go back to camp later and make sure everything is cool there.
Gas, I guess we lucked out. http://northcountrynow.com/news/mor...ng-severe-winds-causing-cancelations-closures
I'm not sure if this will be rain, snow or wind for next week, this is from AccuWeather. Temperatures will take a tumble over the Northeast this weekend, while the West prepares for another storm that will impact the Northeast later next week.
