For sure those hollow trees can be scary and when they spin, it is worse! On that poison ivy, it will keep the sap for a long, long time. Best if you can take an axe or hatchet and completely remove it from the tree before bucking it up.
That is really good advice and exactly what I was going to do, you never know when you are loading a stove and could get a lung full of poison ivy smoke puffing out of the stove. Not to mention the GF gets it badly. Although as you can see she wears gloves and long sleeve shirts when she works. A friend was clearing the back end of a yard that was a bit marshy and unwittingly got into poison sumac and both handled it and burned it and ended up in the emergency room and was a mess for weeks.
