    That wood has been sitting since November . Just needed to get it taken care of before I go get more. Got done by 11am, not too bad.

    Sure do, I’m up to my ears in hardwood. Good problem to have.

    Load of mostly dead standing (and about half barkless) red oak...and a bit of live white oak. That's all limb wood...plenty more where that came from too!

    I got the call I do not cherish this time of year. Farmer has a tree down in a new hayfield. Guess it's time to do some sweating.

    I have a hard time leaving the limb wood, and you’re right…..there’s always plenty! Takes more time, but I always tell myself at least I don’t have to split it

    Well, as you can tell, there's about half of that load that will need split! And while I'm sure that there is some more "goldilocks" limbs (barkless, and no splitting) it looks to me like it mainly gets bigger from here...I'm guessing it was 30" DBH and maybe 80-90' tall
