Had a Diesel Rage on the way to town today. It's sat for over a year and is my first Diesel from a sampler pack, I think. I may have had another Diesel, but I don't think I have. This was a good cigar. I got a lot of creamy, coffee, almost a chocolate flavor, with a little spice, but it was a different kind of spice. Almost a sweet spice, if that's possible. I liked it.
For those that use the "page" to order their cigars from, have you noticed that it is taking a lot longer to get your cigars from them? When I began using them, it was unbelievable how quickly my order showed up. Now, it is a given that the order takes over a week. That, and the prices have gone up. Yeah, I know.......everything's gone up.
Had a flathead 660 today which I always enjoy. Had this Dunbarton the other day. It was my second of those, both were too tight of draw to be enjoyable.
Macanudo Inspirado that came in a 5 pack i got from a friend. Was decent and nice to have one with some strength and flavor.
Perdomo Champagne. These are turning out to be a better cigar as they age as well. Smoothing out nicely.
Beautiful night on the deck with the wife. I have a My Father the Judge and some 12 year double cask Macallan.
This Macanudo Inspirado caught me off guard tonight. Little more power than i was expecting. But it was really good.
Ave Immaculata on Tue-forgot just how good they were! Tabak Especial Red Eye on Thu-it was last year sometime when I had my last one!
I ordered some of those BDL from the page. After dropping a large ash tree and burning some of the tops last evening, I tried a connecticut version. It surprised me and it was enjoyable. It had a flavor that I couldn't identify other than good. Looking forward to the habano and maduro that came in the sampler. Looking more forward to getting that ash tree all cleaned up!
