My Father-in-law gave his sons his guns before he passed. My brother-in-laws wanted me to have these: Winchester 62A .22; Marlin Camp 9 carbine; and S&W model 10 .38.

The Camp 9 has not been fired.

The Winchester was Del’s gun as a boy on the farm where he was tasked to shoot starlings, pigeons, raccoons, and other pests.

The .38 was carried as his sidearm on the Huey HU-1F gunship he flew in support of Green Beret special forces team insertions and extractions in Cambodia. He flew over 500 combat missions with it as his side.

Great firearms with a rich history to them. That’s such a huge honor for your brother in laws to bestow upon you

    Thank you Eric Wanderweg .

Del was a member of the Air Force Special Operations Squadron (20th SOS) , also know as the Green Hornets.

He is recognized in the Special Forces Roll of Honor for mission achievements, including silencing an enemy machine gun nest with his rocket. In his humble way, he told me: “It was just a lucky shot.”

I've owned many Taurus hand guns pistols and revolvers
    Since the 90s
I'd tell you if i had an issue but I didn't
But i didn't have all their offerings either
The pt100 .40 was to this day the most accurate .40 i ever owned and i had a Beretta 96 at the same time.
I bought my sister a g2c 9mm she loves it and is very accurate with it
I had a g3 and 3 g3cs since they came out absolutely no issues
I switched to the gx 4s my favorite micro compacts as good as my shield plus.
2 fullsize tx .22s i sold 1 to buy a second compau and now 2 compacts tx .22s
    Everyone's favorites to plink with
    I'd buy a Taurus anyday.

After sitting on the fence for literally years about freeing up some room inside of a safe that was collecting dust and never shoot, I finally did it.

The fates must have been smiling on me that day as I somehow could not have found any better new home for it, and this is definitely more my speed.

Simple, robust, plentiful and inexpensive parts and easily worked on. The only "down side" is for any innocent bystanders that happen by to my right within 25'.

All that's left (as funds allow) is a magnifier and to get that atrocious trigger taken care of!

I love roller delayed blowback firearms. Mine is 9mm, a little smaller than your 7.62x51mm.

Good deal. I skimmed the list and a few of that sort caught my eye, like the mini Howa.

That's another nice little rifle that brought a good price, that one was new/ unfired.

I hesitate to say what I sold as there is a hard core following. It was an impulse purchase egged on by a friend, and I never really liked it as much as I thought.

This is much more to my liking, simpler, more robust, inexpensive and plentiful parts, easily worked on without a bunch of fixtures and specialty tools ($$$). I also wanted 7.62x51 again because I'm set up for reloading and wanted at least one rifle that fits the "Battle Rifle" criteria like the one I sold.

I've shot it since the photo was taken, with the new brake installed and a fresh rebuilt buffer it is a whole different experience. To say I'm pleased now, and happy I made the change is putting it mildly.

New silencer, OCL Polonium K, approved yesterday. Roksett a Silencerco Bravo ASR mount( quick disconnect) to it, painted it, and checked zero.

Fired about 15 rounds. Very effective for it's size, I'm happy. This is my daytime varmint rifle.

Thanks. I am realizing that I'd rather have uhh.. a few, which is more than most but less than what I have, really usefull firearms than a literal ton of firearms that.. many of them I don't use and don't hold a significant value to keep, just because it's a gun.

Texan issue? Idk.. anyways... here's my Yugo M59/66A1.

Picked up a few play toys lately. Pump 30-30 just because, Anderson Arms ar, the last one is a Mech Tec. It's a Glock 19 receiver with a 16 barrel and action. Wearing Daniel Defense furniture. Very cool carbine. 20240803_042506.jpg 20240803_042625.jpg
