My Brothers and Sisters in arms, we all know what today is about. If anything, let us never forget! Many do and will. We shall not! God bless all who have served and are still serving. Let us pray for those who did not come home.
Not just on Memorial Day, but every day. As a medic in VietNam, my unit saw between 60 to 120 wounded soldiers every day. It was very depressing yet we had to keep our spirits up for the sake of the wounded. I could say more but no one wants to hear it, not even those who went through it. Yes, say your prayers for your freedom every day. Whether you agree with wars or not, those who sacrificed are the reason you are free. Those vets who return from war need your assistance. The rate of veteran suicide is still at 17 losses each and every day. 2023-National-Veteran-Suicide-Prevention-Annual-Report-FINAL-508.pdf (va.gov)
