My daughter and took a stroll on the edge of the property few weeks back. I noticed two decent sized sassafras limbs snapped off, another smaller sassafras tree and pretty tall red oak that was dead.

So I broke out the legendary backwoods savage and put it to work. Still have a bit to do and recruited the family memorial day weekend to pitch in a bit but got started yesterday.

Just found another very tall oak that is dead as well, hope to drop that in the coming weeks. Nothing like when your able to scrounge wood on your own property, makes the whole process that much simpler.

Sweet, especially when it comes from your own property. Saw must be running good still.

That saw runs flawlessly every time I fire it up. Has yet to fail me and starts up like clockwork on the 5th or 6th pull :handshake:

Just like it always did except when it was warmed up. Then only 1 pull.
