    During our GTG Chvymn99 was noticing some of the odd growth in some trees so I thought I would post pictures. This growth is common in popple.

    Looks like that dead snag fell into it a few years ago, bending the the main leader sideways. From there it did a little corkscrew, continuing onwards towards the sky.
