My one pup got sick early this morning before 4 am. After I cleaned up the mess I was taking the garbage out, when movement in the northern sky caught my eye. Long train of intermitten lights. I knew what it was, but still kind of freaky to see. First time I saw starlink satellites in person. They were rather low and very clear, so Im guessing they were launched not too long ago.
I was at my best buddy's 50th last year, we were all out back, it was later at night and we were all having a few and feeling good. Anywho this train of lights started coming, none of us had a clue what it was, we all swore it was some kind of UFO or something. It was really cool looking and then just faded into the night. Crazy stuff!

ReelFaster I must admit the only way I know what it is, was because a friend of mine has video of it from last year. I do track the space station and have already gotten up in the middle of the night to see it. My wife and kids think Im a little.
I will tell you we all swore up and down we saw a UFO, I had never heard of them prior to that (I know I don't get out much or read the news much). I went home that night thinking I saw a UFO, LMAO!! Then I started googling and shoot, right off the bat was picture of it and read all about it. I was fascinating to see and had a shimmer of pink purplish to it................Lord knows what the hec is in our skys watching these days!
We saw it last fall, it was on the news that it was visible the night before and there was a big deal cuz nobody knew what it was. They said it could be seen again that night. We had company I sat out on the front porch at the time they said facing the direction. Sure enough there it was. I called the fam out they looked unimpressed for a second or two and went back in the house. I had an app on my phone that tracked satellites until they started to charge for it.
I still LOL at my boss texting me at 5:45 one morning asking me to go outside and look up. I already knew what he was on about. He had absolutely no idea what he was seeing.
Kiddo and friend saw them from the trampoline a summer night, glad I'd heard about it or we would have been dumbfounded. Except the ones here were only small white lights, no shimmers. They would have loved shimmers!
