I thought it was pretty funny.

I had a 36" bar that I got from a certain member (anonymous unless they speak up ;)

I took a pic to send to them and I thought about all the West Coasters.

The 261C-M does look pretty good :dex: But it's not a Piltz Hot saw, so it probably couldn't run that 36"er.

Any other crazy pics?? Big saws with small bars? (East Coast) Or small saws with big bars? (West Coast)

I will try and find my pic of the 395 w/ 16" bar.

I was thinking piltz hot saw as well. But I am sure that will put the smack down on any of his ms170s running 25" bars?

Hello dexter and everyone else here at FHC, was a member(forgot username/password so just made up a new one) last year then was off the chainsaw internet train for awhile. Good to see the site really taking off! I'm a happy owner of a masterminded 261c thats got about 15 cords under its belt, and like to see threads about this little guy anytime. Glad to be back.

BTW anyone put a arctic 261c handle on a regular 261c? I always like the aluminum handles of the older stihls and current huskys.

FWIW there is a dyno chart out there on the web by a fellow member if you do a little research on the stock vs. MM 261c. Alot folks don't care about this topic but I'm all for it. Shows what Randy can do with a saw. Good stuff in my opinion.

There is kind of a mini fan club here for the MS261C-M with xtra bananas. I own one as do a few other members. What a fire breathing little beast they are.

Yep, looks like it for sure! What's a 346xp anyway? Just kidding haha...I jumped on a new cm in the fall of 2013. DOM is 7/13, ported right out of the box by Randy. Caught the 261 bug with a regular 2012 261.

Mine is an early production 261CM too. Had to wait a bit before Northeast Stihl started shipping them  but it was worth it!

@Grizzly Adam , @DexterDay , or @Scotty Overkill would be able to help you get your old username back if you wanted.

I'd take that bar in a heartbeat and put it on my 064!

Welcome back, $ooline! Can you remember your old user a we can get it fixed for you, or just delete the old account?

I would gladly help get him back on track. But you would need at least the username (or close to it)

As for the 261C-M. That chart of Chad's (Chadiham) was on here. I seen it!! :dex: MS 261XB (Xtra Bananas! !)
