A bit cooler today and maybe a few showers. Laundry day. Maybe a quick trip to town. Not much else. I'm still a bit tired out after the GTG.

btw, some might find it interesting we have a nice man who comes to our GTG and he is always ready and able to run a saw. He has several saws too. He will be 87 this year and looks like he might be 60. I've known him for several years now and always look forward to seeing him as I do all hoarders.

Morning all. Overcast and fog this morning which should burn off and be nice. Yesterday was summer weather. We got a lot done and actually saw the Blue Jays win a game. Later the Canucks pulled off a comeback win for the first game of the second round.
Packing continues. Target leaving date is Monday morning. Still so much to do.

    Everyone have a great day.

    Good morning, members.

So-so day. Light rain this morning. 47⁰/55⁰

So much for mowing the lawn today.

My brother is staying with us for the weekend. Some Mother's Day activities.

I have grocery shopping to do. A soup for later in the day will go well.

    Bruins tonight.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. 66°, heading towards 84°, thunderstorms later this morning. Guess it looked like I fell off the earth. Can't believe I missed so many days posting, I'm a slacker...
    Alerts weren't showing up.
Well, reality starts today, 7AM-7PM shift after being off 2 weeks. Maybe something will get done this evening.

Morning all. Sun breaking through and it looks like another summer day is going to happen. It was quite warm (for here in May) yesterday. Packing and chasing loose ends are happening again today. Housecleaning as well.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good Morning. My Father-in-Law is hanging in there. He is now on his third day unconscious, and resting comfortably in home hospice. There have been a lot of friends and family visitors and his children have been staying with him all week. I have been going down daily after work.

    Good morning friends.

    51/80 sunny.

At the fishin hole with Sam, he's caught one 12" bass so far.

Yesterday's lumber delivery went well, then on the way home someone called for a cord of farwood delivered about 2 miles from home so we got that done as well, they were so impressed by what a full cord is that they gave us a $50 tip!

    Y'all have a blessed day!

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SUPER SATURDAY. 67° now, forecast for 79°. Beautiful day outside, of course I'm working 7AM-7PM...:headbang::picard:...
Did a couple small projects after work yesterday, had a problem with the neutral wire on the shed circuit, finally got that figured out and replaced the lights in the saw shed. The 4' cheap lights had quit working, picked up 2 hi-bay lights from Lowe's... 20240510_222511.jpg
Maybe I can find my wrenches now...

Afternoon all. Glorious sunshine this morning. A real summer's day.
It was a busy morning at church. I was the backup pianist of last resort, computer/livestream tech, lead out in prayer request and greeter as the usual greeter had our Bible study. I had children's story as well so I went with the pre-recorded Bible story I do each week for our Facebook page. I think the kids enjoyed it. I know the adults always enjoy a children story. Story today was:

Jairus was desperate. His daughter was near death with illness. Everyone he contacted for help couldn't help. Finally in desperation, he went looking for Jesus. Finding him, Jairus pleaded for Jesus to come and heal his daughter. "Of course I will come" said Jesus. The crowds were large and slowed Jesus down. Finally he stopped and said "Who touched me?" Peter said everyone was pushing and shoving so it could have been anyone. As Jesus stood facing the crowd expecting an answer, a woman came forward. "I have been so sick for so long that I thought if I could just touch you, I would be made well and I was". Jesus said "Great is your faith. Go in Peace". Meanwhile Jairus gets the message that his daughter had died. "It is too late:, he said. "Not so" says Jesus. They arrive at the house. It is noisy with mourners showing their sympathy. "Why mourn?" said Jesus. "She is just sleeping". As they laughed at him, He sent them away. Going into the daughter's room with her parents and three disciples, Jesus leaned over and took her hand. "Little girl, get up". We can only imagine the joy in her parents' hearts as she stood up and talked to them.
Jesus wants to heal each of us from our sins and bring us to life more abundantly. Take time today to invite Him into your heart.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11: 25, 26

I hope you had a very Happy Sabbath
